Islam – Perspectives on Death And Beyond

It is unfortunate that the reality of “DEATH ” is not known in a true sense in our day, and DEATH is commonly assumed to be someone’s “ending”.

Actually, without being an end, DEATH is nothing more than a transition from the physical world to a world beyond the physical! It is just a transformation!

Right after a person’s separation from his physical body through DEATH, his life goes on within a “spirit” — hologramlike body of frequencies— either in the grave or outside.

That is, DEATH is the continuation of life, beginning with the spirit body after the end of life with the physical body.

The Koran that informs the fundamentals of Islam explains “death” as follows:

“Every SOUL will taste DEATH!”

What we call DEATH is the transference into a life at a universe of frequencies within a spirit body after separating from the biological material body.

As the brain ceases to function, the bioelectric energy outspread to the body disconnects and the body loses the electromagnetic force that normally keeps the spirit tied to body. So the human SPIRIT is released to a new life independent from the physical body. Such an event is what is meant by DEATH.

All the activities realized through the brain of a person throughout his lifetime are stored in his spirit, i.e., hologramlike body of frequencies, like the waves of sound and vision. Therefore, the spiritual dimension is directly accessed without any change noticed of life on dying. The person continues his life in a form of SPIRIT the same way as he was within his physical body!

There is one difference however: Although he is still completely alive and conscious (aware) as before, he cannot conduct his physical body any more! Similar to a permanent vegetative state (PVS) patient (the state of being permanent vegetable) [he is alive and aware]! He can observe everything going on outside, can hear and sense them, but he cannot communicate or respond in any way to his physical surroundings in the outside world.

Following is a saying of Mohammed (peace be upon him) about death as the great Islamic Scholar and Sufi Ibrahim Hakki Erzurumi recounts it in his book entitled “Marifatname (Book of Gnosis):”

“The deceased (one who tasted death) knows those who washed his body, who shrouded the corpse, who performed the funeral service for him, who attended his funeral procession, who descended the corpse into the grave and who prompted over his grave! “

“Do not cry out by slapping your cheeks and tearing your clothes beside the deceased for he is tortured by your wailing!” This shows that he will be seeing and feeling troubled of the others’ emotional states.

I want to draw your attention to the following saying of RasulAllah, that will make us clearly comprehend that, even though someone in grave —who has experienced his death,— has lost his tie with his physical body, he will still be living on in an aware and conscious state within his “spirit” and besides he will be hearing the addressing from outside.

Forgiveness, Confidence, and Other Spiritual Tools

by: Kevin Miller

What I learned at Spirit Quest camp……

An Online Study Program presented at the Universal Life Church Seminary.

There have been a lot of things I’ve learned throughout the 30 weeks of this amazing Spiritual Study program that it is difficult to know where to start. The first things that impressed me regarding the classes was that there now were a way to express what I had been experiencing. There was a means to put across these spiritual concepts to the people I know who wished to recognize what I have been starting to learn and the things I was undertaking. The problem was that I could not think up the words, mental image pictures, and ideas that were coming between us. The contrasts contained in Soul Ages may very well clarify the reason it is so difficult for me to make clear certain things to certain folks. It truly is hard to help a child understand that which you know as a grown up. The child does not possess the words or experience to recognize situations in the same way. It is extremely hard to get a young person to fully grasp being one with the universe when they are really still trying to fully grasp that they’re a separate individual. Dreaming of things like this has made me exercise a lot more patience as well as understanding when trying to explain things to others.

The second discourse that made an impact was the one on releasing the anger– Forgiveness. I am not able to change what others have done to me. I am not able to make anyone apologize for causing pain or wrongs I felt. I can keep them from allowing them to sink their talons into me. For most part, it’s within my control what energy I let to affect me. You can find strategies you can use to clear out the energy away from me and I have discovered that it really is up to me to do this on a routine basis. The best way to continue to be healthy was to take care of oneself. An example from my own life of this about a cousin We have who, before the class, I could not even be told her name before becoming really upset. By releasing the angry power I was using towards her as well as letting go of the hooks I had permitted which allowed her entrance to my space, I have arrived to at a place of peace whenever I happen to hear about her. I was even able to have a pleasant conversation with her the last time I spent time at my grandparent’s. I still find a whole lot of buttons about her that bug me, but with no the angry energy there I will recognize that the majority of what bugs me was just the errors a young soul makes as they are attempting to grow up. Not every adult you come across is grown up. Some individuals take longer than other people to get there. All we will do is present to you aid along with help them discover the rest is up to those things.

The 3rd issue was the idea of using the grounding cord on places as well as inanimate things. I knew I could remove foreign power from men and women as well as things but until eventually the lessons I hadn’t ever thought of working with a grounding cord on meeting rooms or buildings or the ground, in general. I a job with a group of folks that have a great deal of alpha personality types. Because I began connecting the grounding cords on the meeting rooms prior to the meetings, we’ve been able to conduct much more productive meetings along with have the issues taken care of without it becoming a pissing contest.

A final issue to add is that others have noticed a difference in me. My mom has noticed that I seem more calm and seem to have gotten a lot more self-contained. She said that I am a lot more confident. My immediate boss along with people I work with have noticed a difference also, but they think it’s because I am losing weight and now look and, therefore, feel more confident. It is helpful to know that you can find others in your community that think that each religion has a valid point as well as that we don’t have to be in agreement on everything to support each other.

All of this and much more did I learn taking the Spirit Quest Program from the Universal Life Church Seminary, Master of Metaphysics. This life-altering 30 week training course available through the Universal Life Church Seminary is just one of many classes on spirituality, various religions, and religious education.

The Wiseman

The Power Of Thoughts

by: Inspiring thoughts

Over the centuries people have always sought for inspiration wisdom and guidance.

Religions where born, prophets were respected and all sort of Wiseman flourished in any civilization. Wisdom was a treasure and it brought comfort to millions of souls all over the world.

Many inspirational quotes made their way into to the canons of History. Anyone remembers: “To be or not to be” By Shakespeare, or the also famous “Carpe Diem” by the roman poet Horace. Besides these examples in our personal life we all have one or two favorite sentences memorized that reflect our personality and a particular philosophy towards life.

Still in this new world always changing, is there any room for reflection? Can words bring comfort and move our souls? Shouldn’t we just live the moment and forget anything else buried in the past?

We can try, but in reality the transforming and adapting way of the human mind will need to call for some council and for some inspiration that only words can give. The world may be digital, but our eyes will always open the window to our souls. A single sentence can enter as fast as an image and so very deeply that it will never be ignored.

Reflecting on the past and drinking knowledge from it is a way to bring light to the future. Many of today’s chronicles reflecting the present are another way to enlighten the future and they can bring some insight to one’s life.

The greater question is choice, as always. In life that’s the engine of being conscious and aware. So many people proclaim themselves as truth bringers and promise you everything. This is personal, no one can answer for you or choose your path, I say be bias.

Choose love not hate, choose passion not loneliness, and choose to be a positive person not a negative one. Do, be, give, make something extraordinary out of your life.

Bad thoughts give way to bad actions; never accept hate and ignorance; drink as much knowledge as you can. Read a thousand poems and take a glance at a million books, become a free thinker and inspire others to be themselves and no one else.
