Past, Parallel and Simultaneous Lifetimes

The subject of other lifetimes is a vast area of mystery to many. It used to be that people thought of other lifetimes as part of a linear progression taking place in linear time. But it really depends on the dimension and level of awareness involved. From a higher dimensional perspective, all lifetimes are occurring simultaneously in both space and time, making them parallel rather than past in nature.

The value of thinking in terms of linear past lives is that we can “remember” a “past” lifetime and learn from our experience. One of the lifetimes I remember quite well was the last one on Atlantis. I left in a spaceship with about a dozen others as the continent sank beneath the sea.

The karmic lesson in this lifetime that relates to Atlantis is based on something like this: “When the going gets tough, the enlightened beam up and escape the trauma.” My tendency has been to have resistance to being grounded to the Earth plane, and when Earthly affairs get difficult, start looking for Scotty and the transporter beam.

I recall about a dozen of my 38 earthly incarnations in the normal time track (past, present, future) and yes, they exist right now in a parallel reality.

If “past” lives are really simultaneous lives (and I concur with many others that they are), then that means those lifetimes are evolving and changing as we evolve and change. That means we are CHANGING those lives as we change this one.

How can that be, you say? Isn’t what happened written in stone? Is it? Has our history changed since we began waking up? Are we erasing the dark parts of history? Does history even really exist? According to many teachings, there is no such thing as the past — it’s an illusion in the mind of the rememberer. I say, “Of course, I did this yesterday. I have the proof right here.” Okay, maybe some activity happened on one of the time streams. But my remembrance is simply an electromagnetic impulse in the etheric field.

There are Akashic records of everything experienced by the Creation. The Akashic records document all parallel, probable and possible realities. The imprints themselves do not change, but we change our location in the time/space fabric every time we change a thought or action. Eventually, we will remember how to go anywhere within the infinite spectrum of possible and probable realities.

My favorite metaphysical analogy is the movie. The reel contains all time–past, present and future. But we play it a frame at a time and it seems like a linear progression. Quantum physics tells us that reality “blinks” on and off millions of times a second — see the correlation? It gives the appearance of relative motion — the definition of “time”. The mind is the projector and the screen is 3D life. Imagine the absurdity of racing up to the front of the theatre and trying to move the characters around because we don’t like the plot. Obviously, we must change the film (our beliefs and perceptions).

Most people keep rewinding and replaying the same reel of film over and over, ad naseum. We sometimes rewind or fast forward the film. When we do, the details of the drama change, but the theme remains the same. Remember, the mind is the projector. We can change our mind, which is like going to another film in the infinitely large time/space library. If the film we were playing before was called “life is a struggle”, we can replace that reel with one called “life is blissful”. The whole time continuum is a fluid medium and is constantly changing. The akashic records and etheric implants are what create additional reels of film. Every event is recorded permanently in the ethers (an infinitely large film library).

Every thought, every experience, every event creates a unique timeline. When we go back to the past and make a change, we enter a new timeline that is unlike the one we were in before making the change. The old one still exists in the fabric of time and space; it is just that we are no longer in that timeline. For example, back in 1982, California was supposed to fall into the ocean, according to some psychics. These psychics were actually seeing a timeline that had been created by events leading up to 1982. However, we changed the present (and past, to some extent) through the use of healing, prayer and meditation, and in doing so, we changed the future, or rather, we entered a new timeline that did not involve losing California to the bottom dwellers. Somewhere in the fabric of time and space, California is still falling into the ocean as we speak, but we collectively chose not to experience that in our 3D time continuum.

In sci-fi movies and novels, we read that certain time travelers journey to the past and alter this timeline. In fact, we constantly alter many different timelines with every action we take. Is there really any future, or are we creating all the future timelines moment by moment? If so, how can we travel into the future and past? If time is an illusion, as many philosophies state, then why is this even important? If we accept the premise that time is an illusion, then the only value in exploring different time-space continuums is to learn more about who we are – in other words, to increase our self-awareness and further our soul growth. But then, that seems to be the ultimate reason for everything. After all, we are God manifesting as bodies in order to experience all the intricate details of the dense realms.

Where We Go Between Lifetimes

In linear time, souls will experience whatever realm corresponds to their level of consciousness. If a soul has an earthly lifetime full of fear, guilt and sorrow, that soul will likely experience a lower astral realm where these feelings can continue to play themselves out, but without a physical body.

A good-hearted, but relatively unenlightened soul will go to a much nicer place in-between incarnations, but it is not the actual realm of Heaven.

A lot of people don’t realize that the astral realms (places where most souls go between lifetimes) are still part of the duality of past, present and future. Once we transcend duality, time is perceived as simultaneous and all dualistic lifetimes and in-betweens can be viewed at once.

A soul that achieves a high degree of enlightenment while in embodiment will continue to experience that after leaving the body. This soul will go to one of the celestial heavens, or what most religious people would simply call “Heaven.” In reality, Heaven is a state of consciousness whereby one is free of illusions. It can exist anywhere and at anytime and in fact, it does, because it is everywhere present eternally.

A soul that has reached a very high level of awareness while in earthly embodiment has the option to go into a heavenly state without dropping the body. This is known as physical ascension, and is covered in detail in the ascension article.

Simultaneous Lifetimes

There are many ways to symbolize the past, parallel and simultaneous lifetime paradigm. The one I’ve used for a long time involves an all-seeing eye suspended above the timeline, seeing all past, present and future lives spread out below. The eye represents the Christ-self, God-self, or whatever you want to call it.

This brings to mind the analogy of the “forest for the trees”. When you are walking along a heavily wooded lane, you can only see a little ways ahead and behind you. But if you climb a tall tree, you can see the entire forest spread out before you, including where you’ve been and where you’re going.

Getting back to remembering other lifetimes, all of us have, to some extent, a veil placed over our memory banks. This veil is usually necessary until we reach a certain level of awareness; otherwise, we might refuse to learn what our souls came here to learn. For example, if you knew you would live to be 150, you might put off many of the things your soul wants you to experience today. When we do reach a high state of awareness, the veil is gradually removed and we begin to remember many things that completely change our outlook on life. If we are not sufficient purified emotionally, these experiences can be quite traumatic. We should be thankful that our God Presence reveals the mysteries a little at a time so we can integrate them into our emotional self.

One of the experiences that has gradually been unveiled for me is my non-physical ascension into the ethereal realms of Venus to re-unite with my twin flame. This was about three Earth lifetimes ago (in linear time — which is meaningless in the higher realms). In the ascension article, I talk about the differences between non-physical and physical ascension.

To sum up, the Infinite Creator decided to experience itself sequentially to learn of the intricacies of its own creation. The One can experience the many, meaning each individual lifetime of each of its creations, which takes a very long time in the worlds of time. What an outrageous experience!

Akashic Records

Akashic Records

- Ramshi, 12th Dimensional Master Geneticist / Universal Architect

Let’s talk about akashic records, shall we? As you know records are stored on Earth, the Sun (Helios) and Alcyone. They are stored in the crystalline matrix. You upload from your own matrix to theirs. It is somewhat like your toy, Magna Doodle. Your field imprints upon the matrix without you doing anything, just like the magnet drawing particles. It’s part of the natural properties of the magnet. The depositing or imprinting of records is part of your nature.

That is one type of record storage. Then you have information stored in crystals. Same principle. It would be like writing in a journal or buying a paperback instead of checking the book out from the library. And crystals were used instead of paper and pen. Long forgotten on this planet, but soon to be rediscovered. Thoughts are focused and just like your crystalline field imprints information to the library the same happens with the crystal. But because the structure of the crystal is a bit denser than the libraries’ crystalline matrix the energy must be focused and this is done through thought. Once again the movie of the information embedded in the crystal.

Question: What are the diamond shapes you see etched in crystals?

Ramshi: Those are imprints. Atlantians used machines. One could sit in a chair, relax, imagine and it was translated into the crystal using light or lasers. Think of it as using a computer rather than writing things in long hand. This was quite commonly done for large documents and scientific data. It was a much easier and far more efficient method.

Question: And how do you access the record?

Ramshi: It could be done several ways. One could use the technology to access the information. It was much like a movie projector. However, when you do not use a machine you still have the ability to access these records. To do so, you must align your crystalline matrix to that of the crystal. You are matching the frequency and when you resonate at the same rate you are able to extend your perception to include the information stored in the crystal’s matrix. Sound was used to find the appropriate frequency. Sounds at the appropriate frequency will make the crystal vibrate within your hand. It is the key to finding the proper resonance. So if you are making the proper tone it will make your own internal matrix vibrate and you can match the crystal. You have created a very similar external method using your CDs and your computer. You are just using different materials to imprint and requiring a machine to do all the work.

Question: Were different crystals used to store different information?

Ramshi: For the most part clear quartz was used because of the ability to clearly and easily imprint upon the structure of the crystalline matrix. Occasionally, citrine, amethyst, and smoky quartz were used, but generally it was a form of quartz. Other crystals were programmed to perform different tasks but not used as records, not used as you use your CDs today. That doesn’t mean other crystals weren’t used. But they just weren’t as efficient.

So that is the basics. To learn start playing with sound while holding a crystal. Modulate sound until you can really feel the crystal humming in your hand. Once you find that imagine a movie playing in your mind’s eye. Allow the movie to play. Continue toning as that is your power source for this movie.

Edgar Cayce – The Sleeping Prophet

Edgar Cayce (March 18, 1877 – January 3, 1945) (pronounced /ˈkeɪsiː/) was an American who claimed to be a psychic with the ability to channel answers to questions on subjects such as health or Atlantis while in a self-induced trance. Though Cayce considered himself a devout Christian and lived before the emergence of the New Age Movement, some believe he was the founder of the movement and influenced its teachings.[1]

Cayce became a celebrity toward the end of his life and the publicity given to his prophecies has overshadowed what to him were usually considered the more important parts of his work, such as healing (the vast majority of his readings were given for people who were sick) and theology (Cayce was a lifelong, devout member of the Disciples of Christ). Skeptics[2] challenge the statement that Cayce demonstrated psychic abilities, and traditional Christians also question his unorthodox answers on religious matters (such as reincarnation and Akashic records).

Today there are thousands of Cayce students and more than 300 books written about Edgar Cayce. Members of Cayce’s organization, the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) exist worldwide and Edgar Cayce Centers are found in more than 35 countries.

Claimed psychic abilities

Edgar Cayce has variously been referred to as a “prophet” (cf. Jess Stearn‘s book, The Sleeping Prophet ), a “mystic“, a “seer”, and a “clairvoyant“.

Cayce’s methods involved lying down and entering into what appeared to be a trance or sleep state, usually at the request of a subject who was seeking help with health or other personal problems (subjects were not usually present). The subject’s questions would then be given to Cayce, and Cayce would proceed with a reading. At first these readings dealt primarily with the physical health of the individual (physical readings); later readings on past lives, business advice, dream interpretation, and mental or spiritual health were also given.

Until September 1923, they were not systematically preserved. However, an October 10, 1922, Birmingham (Alabama) Age-Herald article quotes Cayce as saying that he had given 8,056 readings as of that date, and it is known that he gave approximately 13,000-14,000 readings after that date. Today, only about 14,000 are available at Cayce headquarters and on-line. Thus, it appears that about 7,000-8,000 Cayce readings are missing.

When out of the trance he entered to perform a reading, Cayce said he generally did not remember what he had said during the reading. The unconscious mind, according to Cayce, has access to information which the conscious mind does not — a common assumption about hypnosis in Cayce’s time. After Gladys Davis became Cayce’s secretary on September 10, 1923, all readings were preserved and his wife Gertrude Evans Cayce generally conducted (guided) the readings.

Cayce said that his trance statements should be taken into account only to the extent that they led to a better life for the recipient. Moreover, he invited his audience to test his suggestions rather than accept them on faith.

Other abilities that have been attributed to Cayce include astral projection, prophesying, mediumship, viewing the Akashic Records or “Book of Life“, and seeing auras. Cayce said he became interested in learning more about these subjects after he was informed about the content of his readings, which he reported that he never actually heard himself.[21]

Major themes

The health readings are most numerous, and they involve many alternative health concepts and practices. Cayce described his work in terms of Christian service. People with esoteric interests have focused on a somewhat different set of topics.

  • Origin and destiny of humanity: “All souls were created in the beginning, and are finding their way back to whence they came.” [Reading 3744-5] The Cayce readings could be interpreted as saying that human souls were created with a consciousness of their oneness with God. Some “fell” from this state; others—led by the Jesus soul—volunteered to save them. The Earth, with all its limitations, was created as a suitable arena for spiritual growth. It could also be interpreted as saying that all beings are born and all will eventually die.

  • Reincarnation: Cayce’s work teaches the reality of reincarnation and karma, but as instruments of a loving God rather than blind natural laws. Its purpose is to teach us certain spiritual lessons. Animals have undifferentiated “group” souls rather than individuality and consciousness. Humans have never been incarnated as animals. He describes a very complex design arranged between souls and God to “meet the needs of existing conditions”, which was a reference to the souls who became entrapped in the Earth’s physical materiality, which was not intended for a habitat of the soul. In There Is A River, a biography about Cayce by Thomas Sugrue, we are told by Sugrue that spirit “thought-forms” stayed near and guided the anthropoid ape which was chosen to be the most ideal vehicle for the human physical race to be created from, and psychically guided their separate evolution into a Homo sapiens species. This contradicts Cayce’s view. In reading (3744-5), Cayce states “Man DID NOT descend from the monkey, but man has evolved, resuscitation, you see, from time to time, time to time, here a little, there a little, line upon line and line and line upon line.” Cayce’s view arguably incorporates and parallels Theosophical teachings on spiritual evolution.

  • Astrology: Cayce accepts astrology on the basis that our souls spend time on other planets (or perhaps their spiritual counterparts) in between incarnations. The position of the planets at our birth records these influences.

  • Universal laws: Souls incarnated on the Earth are subject to certain spiritual laws such as, “As ye sow, so shall ye reap” (karma) or “As ye judge (others), so shall ye be judged.” In Cayce’s belief system, such “laws” represent an aspect of “God’s mercy”, whereby no matter what our circumstances, “He” has promised to guide us in our spiritual path.[citation needed ]. Cayce said that when you view it from the highest dimension, there is no time and no space, nor any future or past, and that it is all happening in one fascinating expression and that time is an illusion that has purpose.[citation needed ]

  • Unknown Life of Jesus: Cayce presented narratives of Jesus‘ previous incarnations, including a mysterious Atlantean figure called “Amilius” as well as the more familiar biblical figures of Adam, Enoch, Melchizedek, Joshua, Asaph, and Jeshua. Cayce describes Jesus as an Essene who traveled to India in his youth in order to study Eastern religions, more specifically astrology.

    • Jesus and Christ: Following New Thought precedent, Cayce distinguishes between Jesus and Christhood. Briefly, Jesus was a soul like us who reincarnated through many lifetimes. “Christhood” is something he was the first to allow to be “manifest” through his material life, and it is something which we also ought to aspire towards. Cayce accordingly calls Jesus our “elder brother” and frequently makes reference to the way of the “lowly Nazarene.”

  • Ideals: Cayce repeatedly stresses the choice of an ideal as the foundation of the spiritual path. “And O that all would realize… that what we are… is the result of what we have done about the ideals we have set” (1549-1). We may choose any ideal we feel drawn to. As we attempt to apply it in our lives, God will guide us further, perhaps inspiring us to revise our choice of ideal. The highest ideal, says Cayce, is Christ; however, the readings recognize “the Christ spirit” in some form as the basis for religions other than Christianity.

  • Body, Mind, Spirit: Cayce often invokes these three terms, or their equivalents, to describe the human condition. “Spirit is the life. Mind is the builder. Physical is the result.” (conflation of various readings). The concept has application not only to holistic health but also to the spiritual life.

  • Meditation: While Cayce sometimes described particular meditation techniques of sitting or chanting “Arrr–eee-oommm” the crucial element, he believed, is that of opening up to divine influences. The Search For God books say that “Through prayer we speak to God. In meditation, God speaks to us.” Cayce’s concept of meditation has some aspects in common with Hinduism or Buddhism (the chakras, kundalini) but is most similar to Christian versions of New Thought. The symbolism of the Book of Revelation, he says, is based on meditative experiences.

  • Extra-sensory perception: Cayce accepted psychic experiences and ESP as a natural by-product of soul growth. God may speak to us through dreams (many readings consist of dream interpretation), or through intuitions similar to the pangs of conscience. However, Cayce did not endorse Spiritualism or mediumship on the grounds that supposed entities thus contacted are not necessarily particularly lofty. Instead, he encouraged seekers to focus on Christ.

  • Atlantis: The Cayce readings spoke of the existence of Atlantis, a legendary continent with an advanced technology whose refugees peopled ancient Egypt as well as pre-Columbian America. Cayce’s description of Atlantis has much in common with that of Ignatius L. Donnelly. According to Cayce, Atlantean society was divided into two long-lived political factions—a “good” faction called the “Sons of the Law of One,” and an “evil” faction called the “Sons of Belial.” Many people alive today are the reincarnations of Atlantean souls, he believed, who must now face similar temptations as before. It is said Atlantis suffered three major destructions, one of which was the deluge. According to the readings, a major source of turmoil was the Sons of Belial’s desire to exploit the Things, sub-humans with animal appendages and low intelligence, and the movements to protect and evolve them by the Sons of the Law of One. The final destruction was the overcharging of the crystal which caused a massive explosion.

  • Egypt: Next to biblical times, the most significant era for the “life readings” was a pre-dynastic Egyptian civilization consisting of Atlantean refugees. Cayce purported to have been an Egyptian priest named “Ra Ta” who built a spiritually based healing center (the “Temple of Sacrifice”) and educational institution (the “Temple Beautiful”). His diagnostic readings and narratives about the past and future were supposed to be a continuation of his ancient work. This civilization also built monuments on the Giza plateau, including the Great Pyramid, and left records of Atlantis in a “hall of records” located under the right paw of the Great Sphinx of Giza. These readings bear a close resemblance to books by AMORC founder H. Spencer Lewis.

  • Earth Changes: Cayce coined the term Earth Changes (later widely used in New Age writings), a reference to a series of cataclysm events which he prophesied would take place in future decades — notably including the Earth shifting on its axis, and most of California dropping into the Pacific Ocean following a catastrophic earthquake.

  • “Cayce diet”: Major dietary recommendations include the avoidance of red meat, alcohol (except red wine), white bread, and fried foods; a preference for fruits and above-ground, leafy vegetables over starches; and a high ratio (80:20%) of alkaline foods over acidic. One meal per day should consist entirely of raw vegetables. Under strict circumstances, Cayce advocated both coffee and pure tobacco cigarettes to be non-harmful to health. “Food combining” was also a central idea in the Cayce diet. According to Cayce, several food combinations that are contraindicated are coffee with milk or sugar, citrus fruit with starchy foods, and high protein foods with starches. Cayce himself followed very few of the dietary recommendations that were suggested by the readings. According to Cayce, two or three almonds (see Amygdalin) a day keep cancer away.

  • Dream interpretation: Cayce was one of the early dream interpreters who contradicted Freudian views by saying that dreams can be of many different kinds (including sexual) with many levels of meaning; that lack of interest is the reason for poor dream recall; that only the dreamer knows the meaning of his dream; and that a dream is correctly interpreted when it makes sense to the dreamer, when it checks out with his other dreams, and when it moves him forward in his life.[22]
