Passive Income Streams: 3 Moneymaking Ideas You Could Bank On

by: Michael Lee

These days, passive income streams can bring just as much money to the table as regular ones. Gone are the days when you have to show up for work every morning just to earn good money. The world has since changed.

Interested in passive income streams? Here are some great ideas for you…

Passive Income Stream # 1: Rental Business

Houses are so expensive these days and a person can only make so much money in a year. This is why a lot of people are opting to rent instead of buying their own home. This is where you come in.

If you have a spare room or an extra apartment, you can easily rent them out. Money comes in regularly and there’s no shortage of willing tenants. Of course, homes aren’t the only things you can rent out.

These days, cars and even clothes and accessories are being put on the market. You might be surprised at how much a person is willing to fork out for a night with your designer bag. The idea seems a bit ridiculous; but for others, it’s better to rent a bag for a night and have a wonderful experience than to spend an enormous amount of money for something so trivial.

Passive Income Stream # 2: Franchising

In franchising, you don’t need to build your brand or spend countless hours on setting up a system anymore. It’s all given to you in one complete package. All you have to do is maintain it. Naturally, you have to be selective with the brand you franchise.

Don’t just jump at the chance to franchise any old brand. You still need to figure out whether the brand you’re looking at will sell or not. It can be a gamble; but then again, the best things in life are usually worth the risk.

Since a complete system is already handed to you on a silver platter, you can hire reliable and trustworthy people to keep it in operation. Which brings us to the next subject…

Passive Income Stream # 3: Get Others To Do The Work For You.

It’s almost always a smart idea to get someone else to do the job for you. For example, you’re assigned to write several articles on planting. Why don’t you find someone who can do the job just as well for a smaller amount of money.

At the end of the day, you give your writer his or her due while you glean the profits left over. It’s easy money. Of course, you have to make sure that whoever it is you hire does a good job; or else, it will all fall on you.

Passive income streams have become much more reliable now. However, it is advised that you consider all your options before giving up your regular job.

5 Permanent Passive Income Streams

How to Generate Permanent Passive Income Streams for Life

by: Eric Gelb

Last week, I traveled to beautiful San Diego for business and spent the day in a hotel restaurant that overlooked the harbor. With laptop in tow and cell phone in hand, I worked, without hassle.

As the sun set, I took a stroll and it occurred to me that technology and the crazy pace of our world has caused us to work 24/7. Life’s way too short for that.

But, Passive Income holds the answer.

Passive Income means that you earn money while you enjoy the beach, golf or the mall.

Pursue these 5 Ways to Generate Passive Income:

1. Real Estate Investing

Acquire a building; then you can collect rent. Other than maintenance and managing tenants (and you can outsource these activities if you like), rent is pure passive income.

2. Sales – Good Old Fashion Selling

As a longtime sales professional, I like this flavor of passive income. Depending on the commission plan, you can establish an account, close sales now, and earn commissions for years to come. The key to earning passive income is the “tail.” In other words, once you close an account, how long will the House pay you commissions?

3. Intellectual Property (copyrights and patents)

As a copywriter, I continuously create written materials. Once we publish a work we can earn profits for years. Consider my bestselling booklet ’157 Ways to Cut Your Grocery Bill.’ We launched the original edition in 2002, which generated an instant increase in sales and still rolls in today. Once you do the work up front, you can earn money for years.

4. Ezines and Electronic Newsletters

My company newsletter, Publishing Gold, includes some kind of promotion in almost every issue. Sometimes we include the promotion in the Editor’s Note, and other times we include a Link at the bottom of an article. We also post our most popular articles on our Website and include the link to the sales page. These efforts generate effortless passive income.

Even if you are not a writer, you can find freelance writers at reasonable rates; in fact that is one of the services our company offers. Writers can create content for you; or they can ghostwrite, which means you become the author. You can search for “Freelance Writers” and “Ghostwriters” online.

You can find articles (content) for reprint by doing a search for “Article Directories,” “Ezine Content,” “Ezine Articles” and “Article Libraries.” Reprint content that will interest your audience. Be sure to get permission to reprint first, and print the author’s byline exactly as required (you’ll usually find the reprint requirements on the Websites).

5. Affiliate Programs on the Internet

Today, you can create your own passive income stream by creating a Website and offering products for sale. You don’t even have to create product; you can license or promote other manufacturers’ or distributors’ products. Become an “Affiliate” and then promote other companies’ products on your Site. When your members, subscribers or associates make a purchase, the company pays you a commission. With ecommerce, it’s easy and there’s no labor involved. All the work is completely automated online through a shopping cart or affiliate program. And that’s a beautiful thing.

Are you pressed for time? Short on funds and long on expenses? Looking to retire early with confidence?

Then Passive Income Holds the Answers for YOU.

Creating Passive Income Online

Tips on Creating Passive Income

By

Closeup of a young woman using laptop and sitting on white rug The traditional definition of passive income is “Income generated with minimal work from your investments such as interest, dividends, royalties for intellectual property, or real estate rentals.” For the sake of this short article we will be covering how to create passive income online. Time is money, and money is time, but I’m going to show you how to invest little money and some initial time to create a steady flow of hands off income thereafter.

There are many benefits to creating passive income. Most obviously time freedom, no longer trading time for money, working 40, 60, or 80 hours a week. Another benefit would be the ability to work from wherever you want. The mobile lifestyle has never been more possible, with technology on your side, your office can be just about anywhere using a laptop and a cell phone.

There are many benefits to creating passive income depending on what you are passionate about. Perhaps you have a charity you would like to contribute to regularly. Perhaps you want to set up a residual income for your retirement. The sky is truly the limit, and there is no ceiling on the income that you can create for yourself. You are only limited by your own thinking, so think big.

woman-working-at-home-l Let us now discuss the different types of passive income that you can create online. The first is affiliate marketing. Find companies that offer high commissions for products and a website that provides the product, tracks your sales, and allows you to focus on advertising.

Another way to earn passive income is to sell information products, whether you create one yourself, such as a “How To” ebook, or you sell someone else’s product as an affiliate. The advantages to creating your own product, obviously, is that you own it and collect all of the income. Ebooks are fairly easy to create, as long as you have valuable content, and they don’t cost much to produce, only the price of the software, and the cost of web hosting.

There are many network marketing and direct sales companies out there looking for affiliates to market for them, as well as marketing systems that you can both use as well as promote. Setting up an online business is very smart in today’s changing economy, and nothing’s better than money coming in on auto-pilot.
