Landmark Education Cries Foul Over Cult Claims

Landmark Education is a personal development company that offers a range of courses designed to provide people with a “curriculum for living.”

Landmark Education claims that independent research shows 94 percent of graduates said the program made a “profound, lasting difference in the way they live their lives.” Landmark‘s satisfied customers enthusiastically credit the company’s programs with improving their lives. However, a quick Google search of “Landmark Education” also delivers stories of harassment and claims that the organisation is really a cult.

Warnings About Landmark

Claims that Landmark brainwashes its participants, keeps them in a windowless room for hours on end, and forces them to sign up for an endless stream of programs has led to the organization being labelled a dangerous cult in some circles. Some have also criticised the business for its recruitment tactics, and some allege that participants are forced to recruit more members.

Rick Ross, who heads a New Jersey-based organisation dedicated to the study of controversial movements, said he would not recommend Landmark under any circumstances.
